Parallax is Born

Mike Kulas & Matt Toschlog found Parallax Software. They met at Sublogic Corporation in 1986 where they both worked on Flight Simulator. They later worked at LookingGlass Technologies on Car & Driver and Ultima Underworld. Together, they pitched a three-page script about a game called Miner (later Inferno, and finally known as Descent.) They signed a development deal with Apogee Software Productions.
